The tag line for Dunhill cigarettes was actually created by its users: If you haven’t tried a Dunhill, you don’t know what a real cigarette is”. What more must be said? A very popular cigarette manufactured in Russia, the Dunhill Lights, Dunhill Filter, Dunhill Ultra and Dunhill Infinite cigarette products have won over their public. As they are a British American Tobacco company, the Russian manufacturer of these product lines typically do not sell their products in the United States. However, the 88mm size boxes and the King Size boxes are readily available through the internet. It wasn’t until the early 1600’s that cigarettes became popular in the United States, but with the Civil war came the spread of “bright “tobacco. This leave was a uniquely cured yellow leaf that was grown mainly in Virginia and North Carolina. Causing Dunhill sales to surge, the casing in which the Dunhill product line was sold was a more attractive package than many of its competitors. With their style and history, the Dunhill cigarette brand became the cigarette of choice over much of the regions. Filtered cigarettes and lower-tar formulas have been created since this time to encourage a “healthier” smoker.
